Part 3 of the 26th IDAL Convention in photos peaks into Ed Mattingly’s IDAL ‘Metallics Super-sized’ class featuring SHERWIN WILLIAMS Faux Impressions’ product line showcasing amazing applications. We found Ed!!! Ed is most likely the most traveled decorative artist worldwide. He’s always on the go, sometimes visiting multiple cities within one week and always sharing 110% of his time and experience with those lucky enough to have reserved his class. If you blink, you guessed it! … Ed will be on the next plane to visit perhaps your city next!
I hope you enjoy these pictures and look forward to more over the next few weeks!
IDAL member benefits enables one access to an informative resource guide such as it’s on-line magazine ‘Artisphere’ filled with new trends, techniques, products and so much more! It also provides opportunities to attend classes taught by world-renowned instructors, volunteer opportunities to assist these world class instructors as ‘Class Monitor’, assist IDAL’s Board of Director’s with monitoring the exposition door, collect EVALs (class evaluations) and opportunities to take photographs. Of course all of the above enables great networking opportunities, friendships, up close instructor guidance, class observation, and my favorite … fabulous chances to capture all the convention excitement with photography!
To continue our journey by way of photographs I bring you Ed Mattingly’s class.

Thanks all! I’d have to agree, Ed’s energy and passion for his product are contagious. It’s a fabulous opportunity to learn from an industry expert … if you’re able to catch him before he leaves for the next town!
