The phenomenal work of artisan Joanne Kim is some of the best hand painted furniture and decorative finishes in today’s market.
Gilding, raised designs, ornamentation….she does it all.

Growing up in a family of artist in South Korea, Joanne received her BA in South Korea and continued studies in America. Here, she adds red bole prior to gilding the asian inspired designs.(source)

Wow, wow and wow. Did I say wow? I am a furniture ‘nut’ – others may say the nut thing wanders into other areas, but I digress. This is something only found in rare circumstances. I am thrilled beyond measure to see that artisanry is so very alive and beautifully well. Thank you!
