I always look forward to where the new year’s convention is going to be held for IDAL and it’s members. I was pleasantly surprised to find out it is going to be held in Indianapolis this October 2013! I tend to have a very short term memory so i always equate the upcoming convention to the previous years. I have been doing that for every convention, looking at the new one with memories from the previous until that opening day finally arrives and I create new set of memories for the new year.

Once we move our creativity outside, we deal with a whole new set of obstacles, from wind to sun (or lack of), rain, and other wonderful elements that mother nature gives us. That’s why when seeing even the simplest of outdoor projects, I like to look a little closer to see how they were created.
