Along with her husband Bruce, Rebecca Slaton owns Surfaces Faux Finishing and Decorative Arts Studio. She pursued a decorative painting business for several years before changing direction to focus on teaching. Her own work has been featured in many publications, and now she is a certified Faux Effects instructor. Rebecca’s dedication to art is best expressed by her commitment to the artists she teaches and mentors.
Ali Kay’s path to being an artist started when, as a young child, her emerging artistic abilities were encouraged and nurtured. A native of Wisconsin, she studied Fine Art at the University of Wisconsin Milwaukee then traveled to Rome and Florence to study Art History. In 2003, and while still in school, Ali launched Positive Space, her own decorative painting and mural company. Now located in Houston, TX, Positive Space is a successful endeavor that allows Ali to live out her passion for art and her talent at creating beautiful surroundings for her clients.
To meet Tania is something special. She has that spark about her, something you find you want to be around. Now put that aside and take a glimpse at her portfolio and you realize that she is a very special talent as well. She is an amazing artist, person and friend so if you have not been exposed to the talents of Tania Seabock then I highly recommend you do!
Nancy Hadley is an experienced artist and designer. She is also the Art Director of many TV shows we watch on a regular basis. She is also somebody with a variety of experiences and talents which have given her the opportunity to work for familiar companies and television shows. Nancy has also become a good friend of mine over the years. I have always been fascinated with the path she has chosen in her career.
