Prestige et Tradition is a high end collaboration of artisans in Paris specializing in gilding, restoration, glass, iron, embossed leathers and other custom techniques. One group in the collaboration-Atelier Meriguet -Carrere carries on the techniques of the decorative artist through working with leather, trompe l’oeil , gilding and lacquer.

My family always advised me not to use a dark color in a small room, like a bathroom, because it makes a room looks smaller. It wasn’t until years later that I was working with an interior designer that I got a wonderful lesson I still hold onto today: You’re not fooling anyone – if its a small bathroom, its a small bathroom.
